Biography

The Dollheads is a sibling pop punk band from Las Vegas composed of Angela (guitar, lead vocals), Samantha (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Austin Avery (drums). The band has been playing together for over six years, beginning when the oldest was only ten years old. They begin performing as The Dollheads in early 2022, and quickly burst into the local Las Vegas scene. To date, The Dollheads have released 15 songs across two albums, debuting with their 10 song LP “What Teenage Angst?” in September 2022 followed by their 5 song EP “Et Cetera” in May 2023. The music and lyrics from all fifteen songs were written and composed by the band, highlighting that their skill is not only in performing music, but also in writing the songs that they play. The music from each album captures the emotions of the teenage experience in a pop punk style that speaks to people of all ages. This is no more evident than in the audience the band draws at their shows, as well as the festivals they have been played, including Life is Beautiful in September 2022 and Punk Rock Bowling in May 2023. The band currently has shows scheduled in Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah and is excited to make their first international trip to perform at the LOUD WOMEN festival in London in September 2023.
