Biography

Hogwash is a punk rock band from Paris, France formed in 2002. Their music is fast, melodic, and full of relentless guitar riffs and powerful drums. The vocals are shared by the 2 guitarists on most songs, and the bass player joins them at times for blazing 3-part harmonies. Their influences go from the 90's international punk scene (Epitaph, Fat Wreck Chords, Burning Heart...), local heroes such as Seven Hate and Burning Heads, to power-pop household names (Foo Fighters, Weezer...) Their latest album, "Rainmaker", was released in July 2014 on Bells On Records (Japan) and Diskrete Music (France). It was later released on limited white vinyl on Disconnect Disconnect Records (UK) and Chanmax Records (France) on February 1st 2015. The band regularly tours throughout Europe and the UK, and has headlined tours of Japan, Canada, and Russia. Along the way, they have shared the stage with Billy Talent, Lagwagon, No Use For A Name, A Wilhelm Scream, Ten Foot Pole, Masked Intruder, Millencolin, The Lawrence Arms, Ignite, Sick Of It All, Useless ID, Much The Same, Captain Everything!, Berri Txarrax, and many more... Hogwash's discography includes 3 LPs ("Rainmaker" 2014, "Sticker Paralysis" 2010, and "Old's Cool New's Cool" 2006) and an EP ("Insert Title Here" 2003).
