The newest album “Starlite”… Blurred memories of falling asleep to a TV playing old shows/movies & the sound of the dreams that followed. Starlite is the sequel to Dusk, creating a soundtrack to a night of dreams filled with distorted nostalgia, wonder, and loss. 
 Before Starlite was Dusk… The vision for the album “Dusk” was to musically emulate the journey of falling unconscious and dreaming (and that strange/trippy fluidity that your subconscious creates while you’re under). Have always been enthralled by this phenomenon. Altered states, or dreams, can often be an almost mystical/spiritual experience where you kind of break through the magical threshold of consciousness. A bit deep? Maybe, but it’s also just a solid chill-out, or study-time musical soundtrack. Created with synths, lofi instrument samples, live drum-pad playing and turntablism (using the turntable to create melodies, by scratching instrument samples). 
 Alternately known for YouTuber remixes or the internet troll songs but D1 has actually been creating chill/lofi stuff a lot longer. 
 Most notable as: -multi-instrumentalist that specializes in controllerism (playing pads/electronic gear) -remixer of famous YouTube gamers (incl. FaZe Clan, Syndicate, The Crew, etc.) -former leader of the band Aquavibe -composer of the viral "troll" songs on the internet
