Biography
With a seemingly insatiable appetite for producing what DJ Magazine once described as, "Astounding, uncategorizable house tracks," Ross Couch has crafted an enviably consistent signature sound over the past two decades. Along the way his music's been played by some of house music's biggest DJ's, including Louie Vega, Joey Negro, Marshall Jefferson, Kerri Chandler, Laurent Garnier, Mousse T, Pete Tong, Carl Cox, The Magician, Jimpster, Detroit Swindle and many more. Between 2001-2006 his music came out on vinyl via respected labels like Bargrooves, Siesta Music, Kinky Vinyl, Red Melon and Blaxtrax, but since 2007 he's reached new heights on his own Body Rhythm label, including his track, 'Somebody Like You' being chosen by Mixmag as one of 70 tracks that define deep house. Recently he signed a track to leading label Toolroom Records, while he's also remixed for stars like Joey Negro & The Sunburst Band, Dr. Packer, Rasmus Faber and Barbara Tucker. In 2009 he reached No.1 on the Beatport Deep House sales chart, while in a testament to his longevity, 10 years later, Tripping On Your Loving was featured at No.3 on their 'Best House' chart for all of 2019, as well as having had multiple chart-topping tracks on Traxsource's Deep House chart. Spotify has opened up Ross' music to a massive global audience and he's been featured on coveted editorial playlists like New Music Friday, Deep House Relax, Groove Theory, Poolside Disco, Hot New Dance and Serotonin.
