Biography
Denver-based DJ and producer Daniel Goldstein aka Lane 8 has become the leading light in today’s melodic house scene with multiple sell out shows at iconic venues such as Red Rocks and Brooklyn Mirage under his belt. His fourth album, and third on his own This Never Happened imprint, ‘Reviver’ is set for release in January 2022. As with every Lane 8 album, ‘Reviver’ is also blessed with the lyrical creativity of several songwriters. Joining Daniel for the third successive album, Channy Leaneagh from cult indie act POLIÇA adds her distinctive tones to the grooving prog opener ’Survive’, while buzz Astralwerks signing Arctic Lake guest on ‘I’ll Wait’ and the wistful ‘What Have You Done For Me’. The voice behind Lane 8’s original breakout vocal ‘Diamonds’ back in 2014, Solomon Grey make a welcome return with a stirring falsetto turn on another melodic bomb in ‘Automatic’. Adding a new flavour to the project, Emmit Fenn adds his dusty tones to the blissful ‘Red Lights’. Teeming with emotion, ‘Reviver' is a return to the dancefloor that manages to wrap up a lifetime of musical influences into its expansive vision for modern festival stages - 80s synth-pop, electronica, indie, European techno and beyond. The album will be backed up with a multi date North America tour where once again he will be implementing his now infamous This Never Happened concept where he encourages fans to not record or take photos, to create a more positive and engaging atmosphere for all attendees.
