Biography

A Los Angeles-based artist and producer with a knack for pairing sunny, hook-driven electropop with soulful organic instrumentation, Lincoln Jesser grew up in the Coachella Valley, soaking in the sounds of Daft Punk and The Strokes. In 2012, he hooked up with L.A.-based label and music management firm Indie-Pop, where he developed his repertoire while also collaborating with artists like Yuna and Shoffy. A flurry of high-energy singles and remixes followed -- released while on the road traveling the world as a touring guitarist -- taking the blogosphere and Hype Machine charts by storm at the peak of the era, culminating in the release of his first full-length project, Modern Color. His production of “Takes My Body Higher” with Shoffy went viral in 2015, breaking into the Billboard Top 20 Dance. The Casa Mirage EP, released under dance music powerhouse Spinnin' Deep and featuring the hits "Roll On" and "Lost With You", arrived in 2016, along with the impactful "Fly Like An Eagle" reimagining, "Slippin'". From there, Lincoln played a pivotal role in developing enigmatic hyper-pop sensation Terror Jr, producing and co-writing songs like “Caramel”, “Heaven Wasn’t Made For Me”, “Fun”, and others while continuing his own journey, releasing his summer single “Boba” in June 2020, which returned him to #1 on Hype Machine’s Popular Chart. Now, Lincoln continues his expansion with “Stuck In Time”, a synthy dream pop bop that forays into new sonic lands.
