Biography

Human Bloom is a Chicago-based collective of musicians led by the eclectic writing of Jackson Shepard and Imani Rousselle. Raised on Stevie Wonder, Radiohead, Earth Wind & Fire, Herbie Hancock and Flying Lotus, the group creates music that is rooted in soul-jazz-fusion, but also explores electronica, folk, and music from all over the globe. Their debut album, “Nightshade”, explores experimental electronica, free jazz, Thundercat-esque funk, art rap, and neo soul stylings similar to Hiatus Kaiyote. “...it's one hell of a psychedelic experience.” -Neon Pajamas
