Biography
Two-time Juno Award winning artist [SEBELL] is the indie pop British Columbia native behind the Canadian Billboard top 10 summer anthem Till The Sun Burns Out. Impressing fans and industry veterans alike, the song broke Top 40 radio in just over a week and a half - without the backing of a record label or management. [ SEBELL ] followed that success with the single, "Promiseland", which debuted on Spotify's Canadian Viral chart at #1, and later a remix of the same song by Vancouver's Grammy nominated STINT (Gallant, Banks, Demi Lovato), which reached #3 on the HypeMachine global remix chart. While the name [SEBELL] is new, the artist behind it is no stranger to music. He has previously released multiple albums under his given name, won the coveted John Lennon Songwriting contest twice, took top honour at the Billboard World Song Contest and nabbed a Western Canadian Music award. As [SEBELL], his other popular track "See Through the Heart" was featured in its entirety on CTV's Saving Hope, and the more recently his song "Darkside" aired in the final season of MTV's Teen Wolf. Jumping between Los Angeles, Nashville, Toronto and Vancouver, [SEBELL] has been working tirelessly on his upcoming release "Songs For Flight Delays" - the 6 song follow up EP to his self titled release features the new single "FOMY (Fear Of Missing You)". "Songs for Flight Delays" releases on show & tell: music / Universal in February 2018, followed by a North American tour in February / March.
