Biography
Coming out of Utica and working the word "frio" in wherever he can, MC FriO Isa Blaque rocketed to fame in 2016. Born Milton McBride, the MC began posting and uploading his hooky, Eastern-influenced brand of hip-hop in 2013. He hit early that year with the track "Know Dat," and then in late 2014, he dropped the Who is Isa Blaque/FriO mixtape. In 2016, he dropped the mixtape Savage Tyme and signed with Ruby Recordings, the label that issued his debut album "Let Me Put Some FriO On It" during the same year. In 2017, he dropped The Infinity Gauntlet album featuring the hit singles Soul Train and Trap Princess. It has been streamed over two million times. In 2018, he released the single "Only One." The introspective tune has blown up for FriO, marking his work as one of his most trendy releases to date for this artist. In 2020, he dropped the "All That You Can Say" single. Stemming from a culture of drug use, gang violence, and poverty, FriO not only makes music to put himself in a better position but also to educate listeners on various topics of wealth, health, love, finances, and straying from criminal activity.
