I really like this place, you know We're sitting by the kitchen table The fire is in the stove and And we're waiting for the snow It's so quiet here No radio, no television You and you can clearly hear how Life goes on I'm not gonna worry 'bout The Third World War 'Cause the world will take care of itself Better than anyone There's enough dry wood To keep this old house warm And i can hardly wait For winter I think i got a little lighter here Maybe I'm a bit bit wiser too For sure I am much more lazy But that's what makes it so amazing 'Cause Time is mostly a useless tool A tool that makes us act like fools Chasing our own tails And thinking that it is so great Every little valley here Is a different world So i think i'll take a walk And I will switch my brain off "There's so much to gain" - they say Well thanks a lot I just discovered what it's like to wake up Without an alarm clock What was it so precious then? Well I can't remember Oh, what a great relief I found in surrender The Best way to unlearn Is now my new kind of study It takes so much effort to Become nobody I think i got a little lighter here Maybe I'm a bit bit wiser too For sure I am much more lazy But that's what makes it so amazing 'Cause Time is mostly a useless tool A tool that makes us act like fools Chasing our own tails And thinking that it is so great
