Pop country songstress Remy Garrison is about to make her first impression with the debut of her new single “Young and Reckless.” Produced by Forest Glen Whitehead (Kelsea Ballerini) and written by Blake Bollinger (Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Mickey Guyton), Kayla Conn, and Ben Caver (Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Kane Brown, Lauren Alaina), “Young And Reckless” is the first step in a new direction for Remy and her evolved sound. Adding a pop flair to her naturally narrative driven songwriting, Remy is an open book on her personal life through her music. An engaging free thinker who wears her heart on her sleeve, she isn’t trying to filter the world; instead representing her experiences in a way that is both vulnerable and relatable. Influenced by the likes of Taylor Swift, Dan and Shay, and Ariana Grande, Remy has been singing since she could talk. Starting with voice lessons as a child, she was writing her own songs by the time she was 13 years old. At only 15 she started making songwriting trips to Nashville from her hometown of Birmingham, AL, before making a permanent move three years later. Remy began writing with some of Nashville’s top hitmakers and playing venues, like the iconic Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. With three successful pop singles and videos already under her belt, Remy, who is now 21, is leaning into and focusing her talent on the genre closest to her heart and roots, country music. Remy is preparing to debut more new music throughout the summer.
