Biography

Diplomatics is an Italian band active since 2013. Their sound is inspired by the New York of the 70’s: a mix of punk, wave, funk and r'n'r, played with cool attitude and huge energy. Diplomatics deliver rare, powerful and modern rock'n'roll, inspired by bands such as the Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, The Clash, The Saints, Devo, Gang of Four, Wire, Talking Heads, Stone Roses. From their first record until today, they have played several wild shows in Europe, supporting important bands like Slaughter & the Dogs, Buzzcocks, The Sonics, Lisa & the Lips, Vic Godard, The Kids, Fleshtones, Giuda, Nikki Corvette and more.
