Biography
Brothers Tyler & Ryan Falcoa are making their mark in the music industry, becoming known for their unique sound and originality. The New England natives, from Bristol, Rhode Island grew up performing in bars and open mic nights. After a severe football injury left him unable to play, Tyler, the older of the two, began a classic rock cover band with Ryan. A couple of months later the brother’s experienced a life-threatening house fire, thus inspiring them to start writing music to better cope with anxiety. The brothers went on to create their YouTube channel in 2010. In time, “Tyler & Ryan” became known in the YouTube community for their original takes on Top 40 music. In 2014, “Tyler & Ryan” won Ryan Seacrest’s online competition “Best Cover of All About That Bass” with their rendition of the song. They later got an opportunity to work with notable artists Charlie Puth and Ludacris on Ryan Seacrest’s YouTube Original TV series “Best.Cover.Ever”. In 2016, “Tyler & Ryan” opened up for Ingrid Michaelson, Shaggy and One Republic at the Mix 104.1 “Mixfest” in Boston, performing for 50,000 people, their biggest crowd yet. In 2018 they released seven singles, accumulating over 2 million streams just on Spotify alone. The “Tyler & Ryan” fan base has driven the brothers to over 140,000 Subscribers on YouTube, and a combined 25 million views. This year, the brothers plan on releasing more singles than ever, rebranding themselves to fit their sound: retro & real.
