Freddie Records proudly announces the release of “La Rajita De Canela”, the new single from Tejano music superstar, “The Voice”, JAY PEREZ. The track is the follow-up single to Jay’s recent chart-topping smash, “Necesito Odiarte”. It’s also the second single from Jay’s forthcoming album, EL PATRON, which is scheduled for release in April of 2023. “La Rajita De Canela” is a classic cumbia originally recorded and made famous by Mike Laure in 1965. Jay’s new version was produced by Rolando Revilla, Jr., and Jay Perez band members Jonathan McGraw and Fabian Hernandez. Executive Producers are The Martinez Brothers (Freddie Martinez, Jr. John Martinez, and Marc Martinez). “La Rajita De Canela” features a lively Tejano cumbia beat with heavy use of percussion, a live brass section, instrumental lead breaks, and catchy sing along chorus.
