Biography
Over a quarter of a century after the release of 'Bezerk' – the 1990 album that defined the whole turn-of-the-decade glam metal zeitgeist - Tigertailz roll on to new and fairer horizons. Greater challenges met head-on by bigger riffs, sharper solos, melt-yer-brain vocals and hooks heavy and dark enough to reel in not only 'Jaws' but all the sequels too. Tigertailz first made a splash with their 1987 debut, the snotty, street-smart 'Young And Crazy'. After endless touring the Tigertailz name made rock headlines with their follow-up 'Bezerk' (1990) , an album that delivered a series of popular singles, including infectious bubblegum classic 'Love Bomb Baby', a song that seems destined to remain their calling card. Regrettably, 2007 was to be remembered for the passing of bassist and co-founder Pepsi Tate, a terrible blow that almost forced the band to quit. After much soul-searching, it was decided to bite back. What followed was a series of killer releases in 'Burning Fuel - Bezerk Live' (2011), 'Knives' EP (2014), 'Lost Reelz' (2015) and the absolutely fabulous 'Blast' album (2016). Jump to December 2022 and a new dawn rises for Tigertailz. Ashley Edison, the phenomenal hard-hitting front man from Power Quest joins the Tailz as their new lead vocalist. This exciting news accompanies a brand new single titled 'You Can't Stop The Rock' A bombastic full-on 'Hair Metal' anthem that sends a message to everyone that the 90's ain't dead yet!
