    Biography

    Sonic station was founded by guitarist and songwriter Alexander Kronbrink (aka Alex Crown) in 2006, while studying music at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He teamed up with Marika Willstedt, a singer and piano player, and they started writing music and playing together. Willstedt is today a well known artist and session musician in Sweden. In 2011 she became a household name in Sweden after appearing as pianist and teamleader in a hyped prime time tv-show on national television. She sings and plays keyboards in Sonic Station and has also composed a lot of songs with Alexander. In 2012 they released their self titled debut album "Sonic Station". For Sonic Station the focus is on melody and the sound is a meticulous and exciting mixture of pop, rock and jazz. In 2014 Kronbrink and Willstedt teamed up with swedish singer Johan Boding and the result was a more straight forward AOR album named "Next Stop".
