Degrees of Truth is an Italian female-fronted progressive symphonic metal band founded by keyboardist and producer Gianluca Parnisari fusing together dreamy and cinematic soundscapes with electronic music and, of course, metal music. Joined by vocalist Claudia Nora Pezzotta and drummer Luca Ravezzani, the band released their first album ‘The Reins Of Life’ in 2016 for the Italian label Underground Symphony, followed by the EP ‘Lifeless, Faultless’ in 2017. During 2018 the band announced they were working on new material featuring Andrea ‘Boma’ Boccarusso at the guitars: the album, titled ‘Time Travel Artifact’, was then released during 2019, anticipated by the single ‘Long Way, Silk Road’. 2020 marked a key year for Degrees of Truth as Claudia Beltrame joined the band as new lead vocalist, while Daniele Brianza and Lorenzo Corsalini entered respectively as guitarist and bassist. While continuing to play live shows across Italy, the band was selected to participate in the 34th edition of Sanremo Rock. Entering the competition with “The World Beneath My Feet”, the band won the regional finals with the highest number of votes ever in the competition. In February 2023 the band signed a multi-album deal with Scarlet Records, the first of which, named ‘A L C H E M I S T S’, will be released during June 2023 anticipated by the single 'Flightmare' out now!
