Biography

Haeredium is a Folk-influenced five-pieced act from Eastern France, whose musical and thematic core is based on the will to integrate Folklore-related sounds: "We wanted to have a modern look on the basics of folk metal, giving leading roles to the melodies and the harmonies, and not necessarily being in the medieval or ancient-like style. Instead of folk-related atmosphere, we have chosen to focus on the energy meant to be transmitted to the listener. Even more with this second album, we wanted to make it a non-stop in-your-face adventure, colored with many strong influences, starting with folk or celtic elements, to jazz, bluegrass, balkan, shaped through a solid heavy metal approach." After releasing one album "Aurora" (2014) and sharing stage with international bands such as Eluveite, Tankard, The Privateer, the band is ready to release their second album through Art Gates Records worldwide in the beginning of 2019.
