El Prez has become one of Los Angeles hip-hop’s most important and influential voices via his quotable, versatile wordplay, and distinct worldview on today’s rap landscapes. Since 2007, the unflinching Inglewood-raised rapper has built a faithful fan base and attracted consistent tastemaker adoration. His discography includes eight mixtapes, multiple EP’s, four solo albums, and a top-billed collaborative record with producer Jansport J. 2014's Urban Street Americana with Jansport J was a new critical and commercial high watermark. After premiering on sites like 2dopeboyz and Hip Hop DX, it closed 2014 on year-end lists by The Source, DJ Booth, Deadend Hip Hop, The Smoking Section/Uproxx, Potholesinmyblog, Soul Assassins Radio, and others.  DeadEnd Hip Hop remarked that, “It’s like walking into a stranger’s house, but immediately feeling like you are at home.” and proclaimed, "El Prez seems to be built to rap over the very laid back beats. His cadence on every song is perfectly woven into the tapestry of percussion that Sport crafted.” His momentum has been consistent, collaborating with everyone from Freddie Gibbs, Blu, Buddy, Jansport J, Casey Veggies, Stalley, to Dom Kennedy, Thurz, Gerald Walker, Kooley High, and others, in addition to creating the hugely successful Hip Hop artist event platform PayDay LA. Back in Office for 2021 with a slate of projects and collaborations, El Prez has another successful campaign ready for the masses.
