    Biography

    Born and raised on the streets of East St Louis, IL, Fresco Kane, was destined for stardom. At a young age, he jumped on a drum set for the very first time at vacation bible study school! By that following Sunday, he was playing in church! As time passed, Fresco managed to play 5 instruments and due to a kris Kross video, the rest is history! By 13, he began making songs on a karaoke machine and went on to sell them at school for $5 each during his jr. high and high school years! Also a star basketball and track athlete going by the stage name “Gena” then, Fresco, was very popular in metro east area gaining fame in local talent shows and even newspapers. Realizing he wanted to pursue music full time, he dove in! Learning tricks of the trade from producers like Shawty Redd, before later joining forces with Grammy winning producers “basement beats” to release the STL classic “dope boy fresh” which gained fame across midwest! By 2012 after a name change to “Fresco Kane” he inked a deal with Jermaine Dupri SoSoDef/Epic Records! Not really seeing his potential after a short year and a half, the label and Fresco parted ways. Heart broken a bit, he dusted his shoulders off and kept pushing! Since then, Fresco has works with Jill Scott, Mase, Jagged edge,Nelly, Teddy Riley, Jazze Pha, Metro Boomin, and most recently Mariah Carey; Co-writing her current single “with you”! Nothing can stop this talented Rapper, Singer, songwriter, & producer ‼️ Get ready for Fresco Kane Season!!!
