Biography
Professing a talent and love for music since the age of six, as well as being classically trained on the piano, British actress Heather Peace's musical career first came to fruition in 2000 when her character in the popular U.K. drama London's Burning performed a moving version of the Better Midler classic "The Rose." Released by BMG shortly afterward, it reached number 56 in the U.K. chart. Peace, however, decided to concentrate on acting and put music on hold. It was only in 2011 that she decided to return to it after a clutch of successful TV roles, and she performed across the U.K. with a sellout tour. Teaming up with producer Nigel Wright, she released her debut jazz album, Fairytales, in May 2012. The following year, Peace embarked on an Australian tour and released the Jack Guy remix of the single "Fight For." Two years later, she premiered the single "We Can Change" from her second studio album The Thin Line. After extensive touring and festival appearances, she readied her third album, which was due for release in late 2014. ~ Aneet Nijjar, Rovi
