Honing his skills as a young rapper since 2011, he was slowly bubbling by releasing a torrent of mixtapes that he put out in consistent succession before finally breaking through the "OPM" world with his back to back monster hits "Neneng B" and "Lexi" Aside from his music, Nik Makino is also known for his massive Vlog "Kino Life" on Youtube. He has about 500k subscribers on his channel, and he releases content on a daily basis. Nik has a unique Vlog style and story, because his content revolves around his life both in Manila and New Jersey. So his videos show both his life in the Philippines, and then suddenly switches to New Jersey or New York - because the flies back and forth on a regular basis.
