Biography

Good Sleepy is a DIY attempt based out of Worcester County, Massachusetts. Beginning as a duo (Seth Girard and Thomas Sullivan), the band began writing and recording songs together in the fall of 2018, releasing Good Sleepy’s first demo, “Rest Easy”. The demo was Good Sleepy’s first attempt at being a band, and was produced by Thomas in a basement on a little mountain in their hometown. Looking to develop their sound, Ryan Duggan joined Good Sleepy in the spring of 2019 as a lead guitarist. 
 Sharing sonic interests and youthful anxieties, the band began to push a sound that was dramatic and heavy hitting accompanied by sparkly, dream-like riffs to accomplish their ambiance. After re-working two songs in their “Dessert Before Dinner” demo, Good Sleepy signed to No Sleep Records in 2020 to release their first full length studio album in the spring of 2021. The band's LP, “everysinglelittlebit”, was produced by Gary Cioni, Chris Freeman, and a little poodle in the farmlands of New Jersey at Sound Acres Studio in the end of 2020. Following the release of their first LP and the coronavirus pandemic, the band altered their live lineup, but kept their writing members the same. 
 Post-Pandemic, Good Sleepy is actively and regularly performing live shows in the Northeast and occasionally touring.
