Biography

Karlee Metzger is a Missouri native, but spent most of her life calling Michigan’s Upper Peninsula "home". With few music opportunities in her hometown, Metzger started her YouTube channel in 2010, posting cover songs in hopes to gain some exposure. In 2016 Metzger auditioned for NBC’s “The Voice,” and went on to work with judges Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus, as well as advisors Joan Jett, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. After being eliminated from the show, Metzger decided to continue pursuing her passion for music by moving to Nashville, Tennessee. Since living in Nashville, Karlee has dipped into the music of her roots, country while deepening her love for indie-folk music. With her vocals being more delicate and sultry, she really captivates the listener's attention to tell the stories and dreams she writes about.
