Biography
A Belgian pop vocalist, Lisa Del Bo (born Reinhilde Goossenswas on July 9, 1961, in Bilzen) is best known for her appearance at the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest, where she sang the song "Liefde Is Een Kaartspel." Although she only managed a 16th place as a representative for Belgium, Del Bo's pop career remained strong, especially in the Flanders region of her home nation and in Germany. From the release of her first single, "Maar Nu, Wat Doe Ik Zonder Jou (Madame)," in 1991, Del Bo was a mainstay of Belgian and Flemish pop, releasing nearly 20 hit singles over the next decade and a half. In 2001, she released the album Best of the Fifties, and followed that with 2002's Wo Sind Die Zeiten: Das Beste, a compilation. In 2008, Lisa Del Bo released another full-length, entitled Dansen, Plezier Voor Twee. ~ Chris True, Rovi
