Biography

Alternative R&B-leaning group JAMESDAVIS consists of fraternal twins Rey and Jess Reynolds and their brother AusTon Reynolds. The trio's performing name is familial: James is the middle name of each of the men in the Reynolds family, while Davis is the original last name of the siblings' mother. Prior to forming, Jess had a recording deal guided by songwriter and producer Harold Lilly, whose name is in the liner notes of many releases of the 2000s (among others), while Rey was mentored by ace soul singer/songwriter Leon Ware. The Reynolds siblings started working together organically, signed to the Motown label, and released their self-titled debut EP -- a mellow yet intense set of six songs -- in May 2015. Since then, the group has served as the faces of the Bulova "Tune of Time" campaign and performed on some of the biggest stages such as the Ebony Power 100 showcase and a world tour alongside Leikeli47.
