Biography
Stan Sono was born in Ukraine, where he lived until he was 6 before moving to Chicago, IL. Sono and his family fought antisemitism and left as refugees. Sono had to learn English quickly and acclimate to the American culture. While in high school, Sono began to explore his interests in music: writing, singing, and production. His music is a perfect blend of R&B/Hip-Hop and Top 40 sound with infectious hooks, catchy lyrics, and stellar production full of ear candy. Sono has released several R&B projects and singles which have amassed millions of plays. Production and writing credits include: G Herbo, Jacquees, Ye Ali, Mannywellz, Seddy Hendrix, Lucki, Nines, Kaleem Taylor, Kur, Sk8, and Goodbye Tomorrow. From producing and writing for others, Sono always has something up his sleeves. If you ask him, he’s just scratching the surface of the creative level that he’s aiming to reach.
