Biography

Blair is the stage alias of Toronto's Evan Blair. A charismatic and infectious personality, his unmistakable romantic flare brings a tender heart to an overdriven sound. Blair first surfaced in 2015 with his debut single “Five Past Ten” which was met with much adoration from fans and critics alike, garnering over 3 million streams on his first ever release. 2016 saw a number of successful releases including the fan favorite “Planetary”, soaring to the top of Spotify’s Indie Pop playlist and garnering over 4 million combined streams. 
 If you haven't heard Blair yet, you may have heard the songwriting work he does for other artists in the studio. This includes artist like Bryce Vine, Dreamers, Gnash, and many others. On stage, Blair is a force to be reckoned with. Combining the best elements of electronic music and live instruments, this show is not to be missed. Blair has seen stages such as Webster Hall (NYC), Ogden Theater (Denver), and FRDM Fest (Long Beach). 
 Never satisfied, Blair hit the studio in 2018 determined to evolve his sound. This brought a more organic rock n roll color to a familiarly detailed and memorable sound. Blair released “New Eyes”, “Forever Animal”, and a cover of Selena Gomez’s “Back To You”. 
 2020 promises another new chapter for Blair, with a slew of new releases on the way. In his own words, the music will be “Supercharged and fun as hell”.
