Biography

Fredrik Amadeus is a Norwegian singer and artist, born January 1st 2006. He has performed at several community centers, festivals and events and has worked with several established artists. Fredrik Amadeus is first and foremost a fan of big, powerful voices, but he enjoys experimenting with various genres from folk, pop and musical to soul, country and rock. His career got its proper start in 2017 when he was asked to sing “Silent Night” alongisde Rein Alexander and Anita Skorgan at Alexander's annual Christmas concert. His father filmed the performance and the video quickly passed 1 million views on Facebook. A year later, in 2018, he was a super finalist in Melodi Grand Prix Jr. with the song “Je vil væræ en venn” (I want to be a friend) which he wrote himself. This afforded many opportunities to perform and work going forward. That year he also featured as a guest on the NRK show “Advent, hva er jul for deg?”. In 2023 Fredrik Amadeus reached the final of one Norway's largest singing competitions, “The Voice” on TV2. There he received much attention for powerful voice and he impressed in a number of genres.
