The album «Temporär Musik 1-13» got the ball rolling: In 2017, then a four-piece One Sentence. Supervisor consisting of Donat (voc), Chento (g), Koni (b) and Dom (dr) were nominated for the IMPALA Album of the Year Award, together with Agnes Obel, Klaus Johann Grobe, and Radiohead. In 2017/18, they played at The Great Escape, Rencontres Trans Musicales de Rennes, Bad Bonn Kilbi, Montreux Jazz, Reeperbahn Festival, Eurosonic, and MaMA, and went on a European tour with Archive. At the «Transmusicales», a KEXP live session was recorded. In fall 2019, One Sentence. Supervisor released «Acedia» (Irascible Records, 2019), produced by Radwan Ghazi Moumneh, aka Jerusalem in My Heart (also known for his work with SUUNS and @Ought). Sarah joined the band on drums, and Bahur on the oud. The five-piece started their Acedia-tour across Austria (with a show at WAVES Vienna), Germany, France and Switzerland. Just before the five-piece could embark on their European tour early 2020, the pandemic started to spread in Europe. It's 2023, and the last two years have been unsettling to say the least. The new track «Ride of Passage» reads like a script for these times: it tells a story of change with a haunting rhythm and a bold bass line. The band themselves went through such a passage in the past two years, now they are back, «transformed» in every way. With new band members, Aline and Stefan on drums and Julie on bass, One Sentence. Supervisor continue to release Temporär Musik.
