MUSIC FOR FILMMAKERS Daniel Ciurlizza (pronounced “Chur-Leet-Zuh”) (he/him) produces music and runs Outlier Studios, a 15-person music team that has assisted him in creating scores for 115 scripted films and documentary projects. He has been the lead composer for 94 of those projects and has worked as an additional composer, musical sound designer (i.e., sounds created to be used on scores), and executive score producer on the remaining 21. SONG PRODUCTION & SOUND DESIGN One of Daniel’s main objectives is to combine disparate styles of music to make something new. This journey has led him to create sounds used on songs by Harry Styles, Maroon 5, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Khalid, Kanye West, and other Top 40 productions. TRAILERS & ADS Daniel’s experience in the fast-paced world of marketing (i.e., creating music for trailers and ads) has allowed him to hone his ability to create many different styles of music quickly. The result is a fresh-sounding collection of eclectic music based on experimentation and musical innovation.
