Biography

Oregon-based group. Estilo Diferente's name translates as "different style" illustrated by their different styles they have, to include: norteño, sierreño, indie sierreño, corridos and romanticas. Three members in Estilo Diferente, Emmanuel Cortez Lamas (Singer and Accordionist) Elian Lopez Sanchez (Singer and Bajo Quinto) Rodolfo Lopez Sanchez (Bassist) Estilo Diferente was founded in 2019 by three teenage friends. Guadalupe Cortez (Emmanuel's dad) was the one who pushed the group and would take them to local gigs. Guadalupe was the main singer (and still sings) for Estilo Diferente since none of the other members knew how to sing. After a year, everyone in the group has learned how to sing quite well and would help out Guadalupe with vocals. All the members knowing how to sing, meant that Estilo Diferente had different voices and wouldn't have the same voice for every song. The group's first single Mi Preciosa, which was written by Emmanuel Cortez Lamas and William Ramos Salas (a past member from the group) was released on February 14th (because it is a love song).
