Biography

Composer, arranger, producer and legendary cuatro player, Quique Domenech has dedicated his career to preserving and composing traditional Puerto Rican music. He represents the future of the cuatro, guiding the instrument towards other musical genres ( Sonido Tré ) including pop, salsa, rock, merengue and others. Nominated for two Latin Grammys in 2005 and 2006. Quique has recorded 31 albums under his own label - all of them considered collection pieces - and is recognized throughout the world as an accomplished instrumentalist. Compositor, arreglista, productor musical y cuatrista. Durante su vida se ha dedicado a la música folklórica y a llevar su instrumento, el cuatro, hacia otras vertientes musicales ( Sonido Tré ). Nominado 2 veces para el Grammy Latino en los años 2005 y 2006. Bajo su propio sello disquero ha grabado 31 producciones discográficas, las cuales son catalogadas piezas de colección. Es reconocido en varios países del mundo por su trayectoria como instrumentista.
