Veliz's sound has no boarders and reflects the upbringing that he had in his multi-cultural home( Guatemalan and Jamaican) in Toronto, Canada and draws influences from Reggae and dancehall to Pop and of course Latin music. The Canadian singer-songwriter is not only standing out with his music but also as a composer and producer, which has led him to sign a major publishing deal and has led him to compose songs for high-caliber artists. 
 Alx Veliz continues to build his crossover story contributing to bridging the culturegap between Latin music and Urban-Pop music.
