Biography
After releasing his critically acclaimed Debut Album called "Natureboy" in 2015, Natureboy Flako continues his search for balance, in both his life and his music. Whether he’s composing in his Berlin studio or performing live, Dario Rojo Guerra is constantly exploring contrasting tempos, textures and moods. This theme of balance is explored in his most recent release, Natureboy Flako, a self-titled EP in which Guerra unites his work as Flako with the natural themes of the Natureboy identity explored in his debut album. He combines live instrumentation, synthesizers and his own voice into a series of rich, reflective and detailed cinematic compositions. Inspired by the electronic ambient music of Vangelis, Jazz Fusion by George Duke and Progressive Rock of Bo Hansson, as well as Hermeto Pascoal and other South American artists he absorbed from his family of German-Chilean heritage, growing up in a small town in Germany, his music transcends genre and regional music forms. "Sometimes music needs the right moment or environment, but pretty much always has the ability to alter our spirits. There are many different approaches to use music in order to heal the body and soul. I truly believe in its power to do positive things and feel that music possibly imprints itself deeper onto the brain than any other human experience. Music Heals!"
