Biography

Dårlig Hjort from Oslo, Norwaii, enjoyed a stereotypical suburban Disney childhood: No dads that ran off, no mothers on well fare, no broken bones, but always that one girl that got away or that summer holiday with the boys you wanted to relive. The music is inspired by the 90’s west coast skank and skate culture, with influences from associated activities and labels. Formed in the spring of 2015, the band quickly established itself as a highly entertaining and quality live act. It is frequently touring with fraternal comrades in bands like Pappasaft, Forgetaboutit, Still Shaking, and Hoggormsafari to name a few. With loads of energy and singalongs the crowd is taken on a journey of nostalgia, infantile jokes, circle pits, pillow fights and crowd surfs. With bruised knees and backward snapbacks, Dårlig Hjort is a story of amusing and harmonic tales wrapped in melodic up-beat singalongs.
