Biography

SAMOEDO, a band formed in 2022, is a project started by Shin Sugawara (ex Siamese Cats), a film music producer. Started by inviting bassist nakayaan (Mitsume), drummer Kento Suzuki (never young beach), and keyboard player Naruki Numazawa. The goal of the project is to "perform music that makes people who wander into a new street in an unfamiliar place dance" and "to create something that will be broadcast at McDonald's in a city where people do not understand the language and make anyone who hears it a little bit happy". They will also develop open pop music from Asia to the world. 
 2022年に結成されたバンド、SAMOEDOは、映画音楽やプロデューサーとして活躍する菅原慎一（ex シャムキャッツ）が、共に2010年代の日本のインディーシーンを支えてきた盟友であるベーシストのnakayaan（ミツメ ）と、ドラマーの鈴木健人（never young beach）、そして気鋭の鍵盤奏者、沼澤成毅を誘いスタートしたプロジェクトだ。 「知らない土地のベニューにふらっと入ってきた人を踊らせる演奏をする」「言葉の通じない街のマクドナルドで放送され、耳にした誰かをちょっとだけ幸せにさせるものを作る」ことを目標に掲げ、アジアから世界へと、ひらかれたポップミュージックを展開する。
