Biography

Elida Høgalmen is an indie singer-songwriter from Bergen, Norway. With a slightly more playful approach to life than on earlier releases, she's finally dropping new music. Her first full-length album is due to be released in november 2023. Her melancholic debut-EP «Past» from 2018 got 6/6 hearts and was described as «one of the years most beautiful releases» in Norwegian newspaper Bergens Tidende. The forthcoming single «Crocodile Dundeal» points towards a musical development from melancholic and expressful productions, to slightly more sarcastic texts with effective and revealing arrangements. With an oblique glance the artist is commenting social expectations and human relations. Keywords are soft vocal harmonies, drum machines, 8 track tape recorder, playful organ hooks and a bit of sarcasm.
