Biography

Camilo Carrara is a music director and producer, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, composer, teacher and sound branding consultant based in São Paulo, Brazil. Professional musician with 35 years of career, bachelor's degree from the Music Department at ECA-USP. Since 2011, he has been responsible for musical production and orchestral arrangements for the show “Natal do Palácio Avenida”, an event that brings together thousands of people in the city center of Curitiba-PR, sponsored by Banco Bradesco. He is an artist in residence and a guitar teacher at the National Music Festival, in Chestertown (Maryland), in the United States, where in 2017 he received the title of Mentor of the City for his musical contribution. His discography consists of more than 80 CDs, including collaborations and solo works. His first solo CD "Canção do Sol Nascente" with arrangements of Japanese songs for guitar was released by Azul Music and distributed by Caras magazine with a circulation of 8 million copies.
