    Biography

    Grant Carey & Chrissy Sandman (aka Sandwoman) met in high school growing up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and started making music a few years later as Summer Underground in 2011. The duo released a string of DIY indie folk rock albums, EPs and singles through early 2018. 
 After relocating to Los Angeles, Carey & Sandman founded the indie record label California Sound Hotel and began releasing music both solo & collaboratively as Grant Carey & Sandwoman. californiasoundhotel.com
