Biography

Nika's career began in 2002 when she participated in one of the most successful programs in the history of Spanish television after being chosen in a casting of more than eighty thousand people. “Operación Triunfo”, where she would share the stage with artists like of Santana and Shania Twain. Thanks to this participation, she recorded her first single "Trampa de cristal" selling more than 200,000 copies, and giving her the possibility to record her first album. “Quien dijo que era el fin” sold more than 50,000 copies and the single "Ser yo” was heard on all the radio stations at the time. During that year, she would make several big tours, performing on the most important stages in Spain, including at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona with more than sixteen thousand people in the audience. Three years later, she would remake herself and release her second album “Desde Madrid", giving a radical turn to her musical style and her image and again participating in numerous television shows and fashion covers. In 2012, Nika joined Jordi Rosello and Aleix Villardebo to create Münik. An electro pop band which has published the EP “Otra dimensión” and the LP “Nada fue casualidad”. Her last release with the band was this year with the jingle "Fly" for the last campaign of the airline Air Europa. Now she is back with the release of her single “Ser Yo” featuring Münik. A cover of the first single from the first album of her career with the sound of her band Münik.
