Biography
Part of a genre of independent women who hold their own in the music game, Alexis Ayaana has stepped into those shoes with ease. Although laid back and soft spoken, at the young age of 22, she has a stature and presence that commands respect. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Alexis is of Latina-West Indian heritage. As evidenced in her breathtaking photos, Alexis is also formally trained as a model and looks forward to partnering with lifestyle brands. In 2014, Alexis signed to Atlanta-based indie label Grown Money Entertainment (GME). Her first single "Balenciaga" received club and radio play in the Southeast region stamping her as the female to watch from the ATL. Alexis has been featured in several blog and media publications including Revolt.com, TheSource.com, SingersRoom.com, Hip Hop Weekly, and RnBMagazine.com, among others. Understanding that she already has a voice among young females, Alexis Ayaana launched the "I Hold My Own" Tour visiting and speaking with middle- and high-school aged girls throughout Atlanta about achieving your goals and the value of self-confidence. Currently, Alexis Ayaana is promoting her first EP entitled “Twenty One” which released in February 2017. Executive Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Drumma Boy Fresh, her sound and style is signature to her brand... young, edgy, and sexy. The lead single off the project “Bad Enough” features Migos lead member Quavo. “Twenty One” is available on all digital download and streaming outlets.
