Biography

The Ocho is a band out of Athens, GA who got their start playing gigs throughout the city. They have performed at some of the biggest venues in the area including several shows at The 40 Watt Club and the Georgia Theatre. Recently the group has taken up writing and recording original songs. The Ocho’s first EP Spring Without a Lover released June 2nd, 2023 and features three new tracks. The track list of “Wasted in Athens” “Spring Without a Lover” and “Wet Socks” accompanied by two of their singles “Izzy” and “Keep it in the Dark” create an EP that showcases the band’s songwriting, instrumentation, and distinct vocal sound. The project encapsulates their love for a wide variety of genres spanning decades and presents them catered to a modern audience. The group is continuing to work on original music and can’t wait to share it.
