Denver, CO-based hip hop artist Know Self delivers a potent blend of mainstream and conscious styles. His unique approach evolved from a lifetime of learning through trials and tribulations and his message emerged from transmuting these hardships into deep wisdom about himself, the life path, and the need for more love on this planet. 
 It was his love of hip hop which continually encouraged him to show up in life. He started freestyling at 15 and was soon writing music as a way of coping. Being born into a family of drummers allowed Know Self to easily grasp the rhythmic patterns of rhyming and before long he was translating technical drum cadences into lyrics. But he knew style is nothing without substance and ventured to learn how to imbue his music with knowledge, deepening it for himself and humanity as a whole. 
 Now trained in 7 different kinds of healing modalities, Know Self intends for his words to be interwoven with healing energy. While his ambitions are to normalize spirituality, making it practical and easily digestible, Know Self’s undeniable musicality has made him a mainstay in Colorado, performing festivals like Sonic Bloom, Arise, and gracing the stages of nostalgic venues like the Gothic Theatre, the Ogden, and one of Denver’s largest indoor venue, Mission Ballroom. He has also collabed with iconic artists such as Gift Of Gab, Zion I, Locksmith , Sa-Roc (rhymesayers) and more.
