Mickael Carreira is one of the most notorious and influential Portuguese artists. With a notable career in Portugal, Mickael’s music goes beyond borders with a growing importance in Latin America. Reckoning himself as a pop-urban musician, from the beginning the Latin sonorities were part of his compositions having created a unique artistic space in Portugal. Since his debute in 2006, with the release of his first album, Mickael has launched 7 albums, several singles, both in Portuguese and Spanish, conquered 9 platinum awards, 6 gold records and continues to amaze the audience with each new work. Throughout his career, Mickael has done some important collaborations with both Portuguese and foreign artists. Sebastian Yatra, Jon Secada, Paula Fernandes, Anggun, and Enrique Iglesias with whom Mickael recorded the Portuguese version of the worldwide hit "Bailando" - that soon became an absolute success, leading the digital tops and the airplay charts of the main Portuguese radio stations. Mickael is also one of the mentors of The Voice Portugal. His carisma, image and unmistakable sympathy, as well as the distinctive way in which Mickael takes over the role of mentor, a judge throughout 5 seasons and the mentor with more victories.
