Biography

Willfreedo is a Filipino reggae-rock band formed in Silliman University, Dumaguete City, in August 2012. Their musical style is a blend of reggae with other various genres of their music influences. The band integrates reggae with the elements of ska, jazz, dancehall, dubstyle, and even classical into their music. They are known for their high-spirited live performances, and have won several competitions including the Rock Against Youth Apathy in 2012 and DUYOG theme songwriting competition in 2015. In March 2017, the band released its first independent album called “Something Khaki” that sold numerous copies nationwide.
