Biography

After releasing a number of his own songs since his debut in January 2020, being rewritten in the media and appearing on TV, the Swedish singer-songwriter Tim Damerau had his first major breakthrough in the summer of 2021 with the single Kärlek & Tillit, which opened the doors to the rest of the Nordic countries as well and was placed on thousands of playlists on Spotify. In autumn 2022, Tim published his acoustic campfire version of Smith & Tell's big hit Nangilima online - and immediately got the thumbs up from the members of the Swedish pop duo. In November, Tim Damerau was then signed by the Swedish label COMEDIA, who released his irresistible version of Nangilima on December 30. In March Nangilima was followed by Tim's song Lovebirds (mixed by Hr. Troels), and after releasing a song in support of his favorite football team Varbergs GIF on May 12 Tim Damerau dedicated his next single "Våra gator i Göteborg" to the Swedish city of Gothenburg.
