Eclectic. Versatile. Innovative. These are just a few words to describe artist and performer, Leaf. Born and raised in the melting pot known as Brooklyn, New York, Leaf has always been inspired by the rich culture that NYC has to offer. Leaf grew up in a musical household and went to LaGuardia High School For Performing Arts. It was on Leaf’s 2017 “Trinity” release she received rave reviews for her singles “FWM” and “Nada” which featured rapper Lil Yachty. Heavily influenced by pop icons such as Rihanna, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj, as well as R&B legends like Janet Jackson, Leaf has found a way to create a sound of her own which highlights her New york flows, ethereal vocals, raspy tone, attitude and conviction. Billboard stated, “Leaf’s aggressive yet animated delivery makes her a contender for next rap Queen”. Leaf has been able to tour with pop star Alessia Cara for her Know-It-All tour, has performed numerous times at the Rolling Loud Festival, as well as performing at many events around the country. Now, Leaf is gearing up for her next project which is set to release in 2023. The lead singles “DND”, “No Freaky” and “2 Freaky” featuring New Jersey's own Bandmanrill and Hot 97’s DJ Drewski are already on track to becoming tri-state staples. On top of releasing fire singles, Leaf is working on dropping back to back mixtape releases. Leaf returns the energy she receives from her fans and continues to prove that she is here to stay!
