Biography

Lusts are brothers Andrew and James Stone. They released their debut album Illuminations in 2015. Their sound evokes both the classic woozy chorus and reverb-laden guitars of Echo & the Bunnymen, as well as the new wave pop sensibilities of Beach Fossils. In 2018, Lusts released their second album ‘call of the void’. The album covered concepts of artificial intelligence, the fragility of mental health, gothic futurism, and nostalgia. Utilising the haunting, reverb-drenched production of classic 80s post-punk as well as the glistening sheen of the iconic synth-pop the decade is so famous for, Lusts explore a rich soundscape of Lynchian ambience amongst their poppier hooks.
