Biography

Northern California shred metal founded in 2006 by brothers Justin and Tim Sakogawa. By 2008 a full line up had been accrued and the band started playing heavily all over the Bay Area. The Scythe would release a handful of demos and an EP over the next few years before embarking on their first west coast tour in 2012. Differences with commitments to the band left only Justin and Steve Danska remaining circa 2013. Over the following years Justin would continue to play and tour in bands such as Vile, Hatriot, Splattered, From Hell, and Defeated Sanity all while continuing to write, record, and recruit the remaining members with Steve D. Fast forward to present day, Warscythe has once again accrued a solid line up of shredders and is ready to unleash their brand of Bay Area chainsaw death!
